Upright

The Chariot is pure willpower in motion. Pulled by two sphinxes—one light, one dark, straining in opposite directions—it represents your ability to hold the reins even with conflicting forces inside you. The driver uses no visible reins; he moves forward by sheer force of will, not brute strength. Upright, it signals that you have the focus and determination to push ahead and prevail, even leaving your comfort zone behind. It can also point to travel, a change of direction, or a move. He advances without knowing exactly what waits on the road, trusting that determination alone opens doors.

Reversed

Reversed, the Chariot is feeling stuck—no clear heading, control slipping from your hands. Or the opposite: things racing ahead, beyond your control, and you sensing you can't pump the brakes. (…)
