Upright, she is the most rational and direct of the queens, someone—or you yourself—who sees the truth of a situation without letting the emotion of the moment deceive you. She is independent, reliable, capable of making difficult decisions with a cool head—and though she may sometimes seem emotionally distant, that distance is precisely what allows her to see what others, caught in their feelings, cannot.

Reversed

Reversed, the Queen of Swords loses the clarity that defines her—judgment clouded, or a coldness that turns to cruelty, cutting others with sharp words without thinking of the impact. She may represent someone—or you yourself—completely shut down emotionally, unable to consider another's feelings in a decision. (…)
